Cubitt House partners with Sessions Arts Club

The Builders Arms in Chelsea will be welcoming Sophie Liverman, head of wine at Sessions Arts Club.

On Monday 8 September, the pub goers of Chelsea will able to attend a collaboration night between Cubitt House and Sessions Arts Club

Bottles at The Builders Arms is a wine-led series that welcomes some of London’s finest wine experts and sommeliers to host at The Builders Arms in Chelsea, a Cubitt House site.

Next month, the Chelsea pub will be welcoming Sophie Liverman, head of wine at revered Farringdon restaurant Sessions Arts Club. Chef director of Cubitt House Ben Tish curates a menu for each evening to pair with each expert’s chosen wines.

For her evening, Liverman will bring her varied and vast experience from working in one of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants, renowned for its curated and adventurous wine list. She has handpicked bottles inspired by the islands for the occasion, guiding guests through a masterclass in wines from the Canary Islands, Sicily, Greek Islands and beyond.

Later on in the year, Alex Price, head of wine at Plates, the first plant-based restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star in the UK, will join the roster and welcome guests to embark in wines for the festive season.

With a history dating back to the 1800s, The Builders Arms was once a meeting spot for the builders of the nearby St Luke’s church.

Pub & Bar visited the site in February 2024. A review of the pub can be read here.
