Butcombe's The George celebrates more awards

The AA has revealed the winners of its B&B Awards.

The 2024 National Pub & Bar of the Year has been recognised once again, this time at the AA's B&B Awards.

Butcombe Group's The George Inn, Norton St Philip, was named AA Inn of the Year at the annual event.

At the 2024 National Pub & Bar Awards, The George took home the top honour, but for 2025 passed the baton over to Public House Group's The Bull in Charlbury.

More recognition for pubs

The AA’s B&B Awards recognise the best places to stay across England, Scotland and Wales.

The main three awards categories are AA Inn of the Year, AA Restaurant with Rooms of the Year and AA Bed and Breakfast of the Year.

Another previous National Pub & Bar Awards winner, The Riverside Inn, Aymestrey, landed the Sustainable Champion Award.

The Scotland Inn of the Year went to The Colintraive, Isle of Bute, Argyll & Bute, while the Wales Inn of the Year was awarded to The Nags Head Inn, Montgomery, Powys.
