Consumers decide favourite pub and bar groups

Mr Fogg’s and Camerons walked away with National Pub & Bar Awards.

Following voting from tens of thousands of consumers, the two most favoured pub and bar groups in the UK have been revealed at the 2025 National Pub & Bar Awards.

In partnership with on-premise data leaders CGA, the annual event presents these two awards to the pub and bar groups with the highest percentage of scores across a bespoke selection of categories.

This year, Inception Group's Mr Fogg's was named Bar Group of the Year, while north east brewer and operator Camerons walked away with Pub Group of the Year.

"We’re incredibly proud that Mr Fogg’s has been awarded Bar Group of the Year at the 2025 National Pub & Bar Awards," says the Inception Group team. "This recognition is a testament to the passion, creativity and hard work of our entire team, as well as the continued support from our guests and partners. Thank you for being part of our journey!"

A night to remember

Ten pub and bar groups from around the UK were chosen as guest favourites, before making their way to this year’s National Pub & Bar Awards on Tuesday 24 June.

The businesses up for Pub Group of the Year were Brunning & Price, Camerons, Hydes Brewery, JW Lees and RedCat Independent Pubs. The Bar Group of the Year shortlist was ATIK, Blues Kitchen, The Cocktail Club, Manahatta and Mr Fogg’s.

Following a change-up to previous years, 94 County Winners were announced live at the National Pub & Bar Awards, as well as Highly Commended venues for each area. Regional Winners, which can be seen below, were then announced for every region across the UK.

With The Bull in Charlbury taking home the top honour, other awards on the night were the Industry's Choice Award, which went to The Devonshire and the Tyrrells Tyrrellbly Good Taste Award – presented by the event’s headline sponsor – which was awarded to The Tollemache Arms in Northamptonshire.
