Sheffield to welcome city's largest beer hall
New beer hall brand Kapital opens in Sheffield on Friday 27 June.

Sheffield will soon have a giant European-style beer hall and restaurant in its city, as new brand Kapital opens on Friday 27 June.
Located on Wellington Street, the Two Thirds Beer Co. venue spans 4,500 sq ft across two floors and sits within Sheffield’s new £470m Heart of the City development.
Kapital will feature continental cuisine, fresh tank beer, cocktails and big band entertainment.
The space also boasts a beer garden, a restaurant space, and a large private hire area.
"After 18 months of dedicated planning and relentless hard work, we’re incredibly proud to finally announce our opening date," says Ben Stubbs, Kapital co-founder. "Kapital will bring something totally unique to our hometown of Sheffield, from tank-fresh Czech lager and weekly big band performances to a full-scale restaurant serving up modern beer hall classics and Sunday roasts."
Kapital culture
At the core of Kapital’s offering are four stainless-steel beer tanks taking centre stage. The tanks will take guests across Europe with unpasteurised Czech lager delivered weekly.
There will be 34 taps in total, pouring a curated selection of beers from across the continent.
Complementing the beer will be a pan-European restaurant celebrating continental comfort food, including Oktoberfest-style roast chicken; German bratwurst; Austrian schnitzel; slow-roast pork knuckle; and cheese fondue.
