Mr Fogg's fundraises for Kaleidoscope Trust

Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers, the Soho cocktail bar owned by the Inception Group, has announced a fundraiser for LGBTI+ human rights organisation Kaleidoscope Trust.

Running until the end of July, a discretionary £1 will be added to every bill.

This contribution will go straight to the organisation that fights for a future where LGBTI+ people everywhere can live free, safe and equal lives. The bar will be festooned with Pride Progress flags and will be offering a selection of drinks to takeaway. 

"We are delighted to be supporting Kaleidoscope Trust for our third year of fundraising around Pride Month and as part of our ongoing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community," says general manager for Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers LuLu Smith (pictured). "We have witnessed the worldwide pressures on the LGBTQIA+ community and through this activity we hope to raise vital funds, helping Kaleidoscope Trust with their incredible work fighting for human rights across the world."

Drink it in

Cocktails, priced at £13 with the discretionary donation, will include the Sanuk through Customs, featuring vodka, spiced rum, banana liqueur, fresh lime juice, lemongrass and orgeat syrup, topped with a pineapple and almond soda; and the Priceless Heirloom, bringing together gin, lemon liqueur, lychee liqueur, raspberry shrub, fresh lime juice, topped with a rose lemonade.

"We’re delighted to have the support of Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers and really glad that customers will be encouraged to donate to Kaleidoscope Trust as they raise a glass to Pride," says CEO of Kaleidoscope Trust Alex Farrow. "The sobering fact is that in many countries simply celebrating Pride could land you in jail. But by donating to us pride revellers will be fighting back against anti-LGBTI+ discrimination, violence and bigotry and helping to create a world where LGBTI+ people are free, safe and equal everywhere."
