The Brave quickly finds new head chef
The Brave has announced the appointment of Stephen Bunch as its new head chef.

Another revered chef has taken over at the kitchen of The Brave, a gastropub in Islington, London.
The pub has announced the appointment of Stephen Bunch (ex-London Shell Company) as its new head chef, following the sudden departure of James Cochran last month.
Cochran left the anticpated pub business "to explore further creative hospitality projects and personal commitments".
Bunch (pictured) has also cooked at Michelin-starred restaurants Maze by Gordon Ramsay and Morston Hall in Norfolk.
However, he is best known for his menu at the London Shell Company and its barge-based restaurant, where he was head chef for two years.
Taking over the historic London pub at 340 Essex Road (previously the Englefield) The Brave relaunched with a new look and name in December 2024.
