The McCormick Sessions return next month, with some of the greatest minds in food delivering two live digital masterclasses focusing on flavour inspiration and new ways of thinking in the kitchen.

The interactive sessions, available to pub and bar chefs, are driven by some of the hottest trends imminent this year and are completely free to join.

Session #1 (10am on Friday 9 April with a re-run at 4pm) will see the breakout star of Masterchef: The Professionals Philli Armitage-Mattin (pictured) creating delivery-focused dishes using Frank’s RedHot and French’s Mustard, aimed to help operators raise their takeaway game.

Three weeks later at 10am on Thursday 29 April (and re-run at 4pm), pit master extraordinaire Christian Stevenson (aka DJ BBQ), returns to the fold, alongside UK Butchery Skills team captain Simon Taylor, for session #2 - a meat vs plant-based BBQ Battle Royale. The pair will go head-to-head, showcasing Schwartz seasonings American classic Old Bay and Mexican favourite Cholula Hot Sauce, as they battle for flavour supremacy across two contrasting styles.

Pub chefs who are keen to get specific tips and advice from the sessions will be able to ask questions in advance and should submit these via Eventbrite. If questions arise during the webinars, viewers will be able to ask these throughout the sessions to get answers directly from the chefs.

"Following their huge success last year, we’re excited to return in 2021 with two new exclusive McCormick Sessions," says McCormick commercial controller Chris Cannon. "It’s brilliant to be working with Philli, Christian and Simon – three inspirational chefs whose expertise and creativity are invaluable to anyone looking to refresh their offering and create trend-driven menus."

With a full May restart now very much on the horizon, chefs, F&B managers, operators and anyone looking to revamp or update their menus can secure their seat at the table by clicking here and signing up for free.
