The Parogon Group is getting ready to open the doors to its latest venue, with work beginning on The Broughton Arms near Betley.
The derelict pub is about to undergo a significant transformation, with the aim of opening in late summer 2020.
Creating 60 new jobs for the area, The Broughton Arms will become the eighth venue to be opened by the group. Changes to the venue will include a covered external dining space with year-round heating, plus a semi-private dining space to allow for private parties or family functions. Two feature trees inside the dining space will create an ‘outside/in’ atmosphere and give a sense of grandeur to the eating experience.
“Following Parogon’s plan to acquire iconic sites, The Broughton Arms was identified as a hugely popular venue with so many loyal followers from all over the region,” says Richard Colclough, managing director of The Parogon Group (pictured). “We felt it was time to expand the geographical reach of Parogon and after seeing the potential that The Broughton Arms had at bringing a contemporary and stylish dining experience, it was an obvious decision to move into south Cheshire.
“Now we are ready to hit the ground running with the approved plans to expand and modernise The Broughton Arms, and we can’t wait to welcome diners, especially our many loyal customers, into our latest addition for an incredible and new dining experience.”
