The Last Crumb pub is set to open in October in Caversham, Reading.
The venue is the latest launch from Dodo Pub Co, which is also behind The Rusty Bicycle in Oxford, and The Bottle of Sauce in Cheltenham.
Dodo Pubs took over The Prince of Wales and have renamed it The Last Crumb, in tribute to Reading’s ties to the biscuit industry.
The Last Crumb will have a contemporary feel, with bold, colourful artwork. There will also be a 200-cover restaurant, open kitchen, and a large bar with counter dining.
It will be open seven days a week, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and evening menus. From 9am, the venue will offer the likes of breakfast sandwiches, avocado smash and buttermilk waffles. For lunch, there will be Neapolitan pizzas, a variety of craft burgers and veggie bowls.
The drinks menu will feature Dodo Lager, brewed especially for the pub, as well as a large selection of other craft beers, ales, cocktails and homemade spirits.
Throughout the year, The Last Crumb will host a number of events, including a regular pub quiz and live music. In the warmer months, there’s a large pub garden at the rear, which will be used for events including an open-air cinema and food and drink festivals.
