Four of the investors who appeared on the BBC’s Million Pound Menu will make up ‘The Investment Panel’ at BITES Live on Wednesday 10 October.

MEATliquor founder Scott Collins, Fulham Shore chairman David Page, White Rabbit Fund founder Chris Miller and Lydia Forte, group director of food and beverage at Rocco Forte Hotels, will be discussing investment in the current foodservice and hospitality markets, including what they consider a potential investment opportunity and the challenges and rewards of investing in a new business.

Alongside business partner Yianni Papoutsis, Collins formed burger bar MEATliquor in 2010 and now runs 11 sites across London, Leeds and Brighton.

Former PizzaExpress CEO David Page helped the pizza restaurant become a powerhouse, and now has his attention on Franco Manca and The Real Greek with Fulham Shore.

Through White Rabbit Fund, former Soho House Group commercial director Chris Miller has provided capital and support for the likes of Kricket, Island Poké, Lina Stores and Andrew Wong’s new Bloomberg Arcade restaurant, Kym’s.

Lydia Forte is daughter of Sir Rocco Forte, founder of luxury, five-star Rocco Forte Hotels. Before committing full-time to the family business, she managed the opening of The Markham Inn in Chelsea and led the update of Hix Mayfair and Bocconi in Brussels.
