Bar Three, the second venue from the brothers behind Dalston bar Three Sheets Max and Noel Venning, is opening in the basement of Spitalfields restaurant Blixen.
The new bar is a joint venture with Blixen’s owners Clive Watson and Justin Gilbert, bringing the ‘fuss-free approach’ of Three Sheets to a larger space.
Guests will enter a subterranean bar featuring the cellar’s original arches and bare brick walls and the bar itself is split into two areas with stools for perching at the bar, high top tables and table service.
The menu is split into threes – cocktails are listed in three sections, with three serves in each that have been categorised by flavour rather than spirit.
A trio of wine, beer and non-alcoholic options are also available, along with a concise food menu that is the result of a collaborative effort between the Blixen team and the Venning brothers – presented in threes with small, medium and larger dishes on offer.
