The National Pub & Bar Awards is back, with entries now officially open for venues including single-site operators, businesses within leased and tenanted estates, and sites in managed groups.
The annual quest to find the best pub or bar in each of the 94 counties across the UK for 2018 will see the winners crowned at a red carpet celebration at BAFTA on Wednesday 23 May. Regional winners will also be announced, as well as additional awards for 2018 and, of course, the overall National Pub & Bar of the Year will be revealed.
“The 2017 National Pub & Bar Awards was a surreal and incredible evening,” comments Chris Hill, CEO of The New World Trading Company, which saw The Botanist in Sheffield crowned overall winner last year. “The impact of this accolade cannot be overstated. Now over a year old, The Botanist continues to go from strength to strength, helped in no small part that the staff, and customers, know it is the best pub in the UK!”
Open to all pubs and bars throughout the UK, the National Pub & Bar Awards will once again be rewarding the trade for overall retail excellence, best practice and individual entrepreneurship. The 94 County Winners will be announced in May and their success stories celebrated on a national scale across consumer and trade media.
The closing date for entries is Friday 16 March 2018.
