NWTC is Britain's fast growing pub and restaurant operator

The New World Trading Company (NWTC) has achieved a place on the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table for the third consecutive year.

In its 21st year, the Fast Track table ranks Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales and NWTC is the highest-ranking pub and restaurant business. It also makes the Knutsford-based company as the fastest growing pub and restaurant operator in Britain, achieving over 60% growth in the last three years.

Ranked 56 nationally, multi-award winning NWTC owns six brands across 20 pub and restaurant sites and employs 858 people. NWTC attributes its rapid growth success to the expansion of its brand concepts, including The Botanist, which is established in seven locations, and newer additions to the portfolio including The Canal House, a Birmingham-based pub which opened in July this year.

“Achieving a Fast Track hat-trick is a massive accomplishment for us all and to know that we’re the fastest growing private pub and restaurant operator in Britain is a huge accolade,” says NWTC chief executive Chris Hill. “This year has again seen us focus on what the market wants, continuing to innovate with fresh concepts and exceed customer expectations, while empowering our people to lead the different areas of the business forward. We’re delighted to have this recognition – it’s well-deserved for all involved.”
