Young's reopens Lord Palmerston as managed house

Young’s has reopened The Lord Palmerston in north London’s Tufnell Park as a managed pub.

The previously tenanted establishment has joined the Young’s Managed Estate after an extensive refurbishment. Original features, including fireplaces, wooden flooring and the bar, were all fully restored, while contemporary artwork and geometric patterned wallpaper were also added.

Young’s has also introduced a new 25-cover dining area called The Diary, which features The Viscount Table – a sharing/community table for up to eight diners. The menu features carefully sourced seasonal British dishes, while the bar has a wide range of London craft beers.

The Lord Palmerston also has an upstairs private dining room, which can host 35 seated or 60 standing, while al fresco dining and drinking is available in the rear courtyard and front terrace.

“We greatly look forward to greeting locals once again to The Lord Palmerston, as well as welcoming new faces, ensuring that this remains a pub for the whole community to enjoy,” comments general manager Carlos Loureiro.
